2013: Chloe Oprzedek had a breakout junior season and improved her batting average to a .303 mark. She was second on the team with a .555 slugging percentage, good for ninth in UA single season history. She also played an outstanding third base and will surely start at the position next season. Oprzedek had a 19-game reached base streak until March 23 at Florida. She also scored 42 runs in 2013, good for second on the team and fourth all-time in a single season in UA history. She had a triple in the NCAA tournament against Fordham and also scored two runs in the game. Oprzedek had nine multiple hit games in 2013.

2012: Oprzedek picked up right where she left off from her freshman season. She made the transition from shortstop to third base almost with perfection. She was a solid staple for the Razorbacks defense recording 53 putouts and 114 assists. At the plate Chloe batted .227 for her sophomore campaign with 34 hits including seven doubles and seven home runs. She had an impressive series at South Carolina where she hit two home runs and had five RBI. In the extra inning 5-4 victory over the Gamecocks, Chloe batted .500 with a home run and a double. Oprzedek had a clutch single in the first game of the NCAA Tournament against Boston University. She was eventually brought in to tie the game that the Razorbacks went on to win 3-2.

2011: Oprzedek finished her inaugural season as the only Razorback to start and play in all 52 games during the 2011 season. In her first start with Arkansas, Oprzedek recorded one of the five triples to break the single-game record. She also tallied two runs off two hits and two RBI in the first game of the season. She picked up another triple in the 14-4 win over Texas Southern (Feb. 25) at the Holiday Inn Emerald Beach Islander Classic in Corpus Christi, Texas. Oprzedek had eight multi-hit games and three multi-RBI games on the season. She had the second longest hitting streak on the team from Feb. 26-March 9 with seven games. She started 21 games at the ninth spot in the lineup and maintained a .300 batting average at the bottom of the lineup. She finished the season with an overall batting average of .238. Collecting12 RBI off 34 hits and 11 runs, Oprzedek picked up eight stolen bags and had three sacrifice hits and one sacrifice fly on the season. She played a key role in the Razorbacks win over third-ranked Georgia (April 23) when she came to the plate with two outs and got a two-base hit to center field to bring in the two RBI needed to best the Bulldogs 201. Defensively, she had 89 putouts and 98 assists between third base and shortstop. She also turned three double plays on the season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Oprzedek was a four-year starter for Providence Catholic High School. She helped lead Providence to a fourth-place finish in the East Suburban Catholic Conference after finishing second in 2008. For her efforts, she was named to the all-area and all-conference first teams. Oprzedek was the 2010 most valuable player at Providence Catholic High School and was a team captain her junior and senior years.  She was an ESCC 2010 All-Conference selection and Most Valuable Student Athlete. She was also named ESPN RISE Midwest Player of the Week, Girls Who Had Game, and Illinois & Texas Single Game Standout. Oprzedek was a member of the 2010 Super 60 Southtown Star All-Area first team as well as the 2010 Herald News All-Area First  Team. She was named to Team 22 All-22nd Century Media Sports "Super Team" first team. She was also awarded to the 2010 IL H.S. "Elite" Team and voted Most Athletic Senior Girl at Providence Catholic High School. She holds her high school's record for single season runs (43), triples (5), RBI (51), and BA (.475). She holds the career record at Providence Catholic High School for hits (152), runs (111), triples (14), and homeruns (15). Proving her versatility, she spent time at shortstop, second, third and in the outfield. She capped off her senior season with a .533 batting average in the conference and had a 19-game hitting streak for a total of 56 hits in 33 games. Along with softball, she was a letterwinner in volleyball and basketball during high school.

PERSONAL: Born July 4, 1992, she is the daughter of Edward and Thea Oprzedek. She has seven brothers and sisters . She is majoring in recreation management with an emphasis in wellness and plans to pursue a career in sports medicine or coaching after college.
