FAYETTEVILLE- Freshman, left-handed pitcher Kimmy Beasley was named to the collegesports360.com honor roll for her performance in her inaugural weekend as a Razorback. At the Getterman Classic, in Waco, Texas, Beasley went 2-0 for the weekend which included a win over #7 Baylor at its home field.

Collegesports360.com is a site that recognizes Division I athletes that had an outstanding week/game in their respective sport. The site takes into consideration quality of opponent, contribution to team success, all-around play, clutch efforts, consistency, leadership, adversity overcome, etc. in their nomination process.

For the weekend, Beasley threw 11.0 innings, seven of those being against #7 Baylor. She allowed only one run and one walk with an ERA of .64. Beasley was named to the Getterman Classic all-tournament team along with four other Razorbacks.

"Kimmy had unbelievable composure during the Baylor game," said Head Coach Mike Larabee. "She didn't look like a freshman pitcher out there in the circle."

A native of Foreman, Arkansas, Beasley was named Gatorade's Arkansas Softball Player of the Year in 2011 while also helping Foreman High School to four state championships during her high school career.
