Fagan, national player of the year, joins Razorbacks

FAYETTEVILLE- University of Arkansas softball head coach Mike Larabee welcomes transfer Kasey Fagan to join the Razorback team.
 
Arkansas, who recently completed the most successful NCAA Tournament run in school history, adds Fagan who is the 2010 Gatorade National Player of the Year. Fagan will redshirt the 2013 season to meet the Southeastern Conference transfer rules, but comes to Arkansas with two years of eligibility remaining.
 
Fagan helped her high school to two Florida state championships.
 
"Kasey will make our program better immediately of her work ethic," says Larabee. "She is going to push everyone on our team, even though she has to redshirt this year. She is a tremendous student-athlete who has all the tools to be an All-American. We are very excited that she has chosen our program as the place to finish her collegiate career."
