FAYETTEVILLE – University of Arkansas sophomore Devon Wallace was named to the All-Southeastern Conference First-Team by CollegeSportsMadness.com as a utility player, the outlet announced today.

Wallace was the first player in Razorback softball history to be named first-team All-SEC last season by the league’s coaches. She was also tabbed as the SEC Freshman of the Year in 2012. After starting all 57 games  last season she led the team in batting average (.367), runs scored (39), total bases (110), walks (53), slugging (.733), RBI (38) and OBP (.548).

CollegeSportsMadness.com is also launching a countdown of the top 44 softball teams in the nation. The countdown features in-depth previews, tournament projections and recruiting rankings.  Once the season begins College Sports Madness will release weekly player awards, tournament projections and national rankings.
