AS A JUNIOR (2010-11):  During her second full spring season, Roy was, once again, a major part in the Razorbacks run to the NCAA Tournament. Splitting time in between the No. 2-No. 5 positions, Roy tallied a 22-15 overall record and claimed 16 dual match victories. Her 22 wins were good for third on the team. She saw her best numbers at the No. 5 spot where she went a perfect 7-0. At one point in the spring, Roy won six straight matches, including a ranked win over No. 106 Jennifer Kellner of Notre Dame to help the Hogs upset 4th-ranked Notre Dame. The Montreal native went on to earn two more ranked wins during the year. In doubles, Roy caught her stride when she was paired up with teammate Kate Lukomskaya. The two totaled a 13-10 overall record, but won eight matches in conference play. The team played all but one match at the No. 2 spot and helped the Razorbacks earn a win at the ITA National Indoor Championships over No. 18 Washington with an 8-5 victory over Adrijana Pavlovic and Samantha Smith.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2009-10): Although she did not play in the fall, Roy was a major contibutor during the team's spring season. Playing the majority of the season at the number four spot, Roy posted a 17-9 record throughout the spring and a 6-4 conference record. One of Roy's standout victories came only in the seventh match of her Razorback career, when she helped her team clinch a 4-3 victory over Tulsa with a win over Anastasia Erofeeva in three sets, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4. At the beginning of conference play, Roy won four of her first five matches against players from South Carolina, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Texas A&M. In doubles, Roy was just as much of a mainstay as she and teammate, Valentina Starkova racked up a 9-8 record overall throughout the dual season.

AS A FRESHMAN (2008-09): A mid-term enrollee at Arkansas, Stephanie Roy sat out the 2009 spring season, but practiced and trained with the Razorbacks.

BEFORE ARKANSAS: Stephanie Roy joins the Razorback women's tennis team after an impressive junior career in Canada. Since beginning international competition, Roy has never been ranked lower than seventh among Canada's elite. Roy was a finalist at the 2008 Canadian University and College National Championships. An outstanding doubles player as well, as a 16 year-old, partnered with American Alexandra McGoodwin to go all the way from the qualifying to the finals of the 2006 Evansville (IN) Open on her way to a 853 WTA doubles ranking. A native of Quebec, she attended Regina Assumpta prior to enrolling at Arkansas.

PERSONAL: Roy was born in Motreal, Canada to Sylvian Roy and Viviane Lussier on Aug. 2, 1990. She has an older brother, Nicolas, and chose Arkansas because of the great chemistry she felt with the players and coaching staff.
