#RAZORFACTS

  • Recognized as 2014 Lee Spencer Cup individual champion (2013-14)

AS A SOPHOMORE (2013-14):

  • Finished 5-4 in singles, competing mostly at No. 6 singles but went 2-0 in both appearances at No. 4 singles
  • Win of the season came in capping off a furious rally after the Razorbacks trailed 3-0, as Araujo clinched the come-from-behind win at Missouri by defeating Tracy Dong, 7-6 (8-6), 7-5, at No. 6 singles
  • Named 2014 Lee Spencer Cup individual champion (3/21), which annually recognizes the Razorback who earned distinction in the classroom, in athletic competition, in personal development and in the community
  • Selected as Student Leader of the Month for November

AS A FRESHMAN (2012-13):

  • Finished the season having compiled a record of 6-6 in dual singles matches
  • Played the most matches at No. 6 singles, going 4-0
  • Posted a 2-2 record in doubles, playing with three different partner


PRIOR TO ARKANSAS:

  • Rated among the best junior players in South America, reaching No. 2 in the Brazilian rankings
  • Achieved a ranking of 528th in the WTA after being coached by former professional player Carlos Kirmayr.
