AS A FRESHMAN (2012-13): Compiled a record of 6-6 in dual singles matches. Played the most matches at No. 6 singles, going 4-0. Araujo was 0-4 in SEC play. Also had a 2-2 record in doubles, playing with three different partners.

PRIOR TO ARKANSAS: Rated among the best junior players in South America, reaching number two in the Brazilian rankings. Achieved a ranking of 528th in the WTA after being coached by former professional player Carlos Kirmayr.

PERSONAL: Born December 29, 1992 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Parents are Flavio Araujo and Solange Dechandt. Father is a music producer and mother works in publicity. Youngest of three daughters. Plans to major in business. Chose Arkansas because of the great academics, facilities, and coaching.
