2009 Outlook
Arkansas’ incumbent in center field, Brett Eibner proved to be a standout defender for the Razorbacks in center field as a true freshman ... With depth in the outfield, Eibner should see more time on the pitcher’s mound this season ... Returned to campus in good shape and was touted by SE Baseball as a player to watch this season ... A five-tool player ... Hits for average and has power ... overpowering fastball on the mound with movement and a sharp curveball.

2008 (Freshman)
Led the Razorbacks in RBI with 48 and was the first freshman since Jeff King in 1984 to accomplish the task ... Batted .298 and was over .300 almost the entire season ... Belted eight home runs hitting throughout the Razorback lineup and was second on the team with 95 total bases thanks to 10 doubles, two triples and eight home runs ... Played 53 of 58 games ... Seven-game hitting streak in April going 11-29 (379) with five home runs and eight RBI ... Had three game-winning hits including a fly-ball single against Tennessee on April 19 ... Summer Baseball
Spent the summer of 2008 with the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Cod League ... Drove in 18 runs and hit four home runs in his first season with a wooden bat, knocking out 24 hits ... Pitched one game over the summer and allowed one walk while striking out one over one inning.

The Woodlands High School
Hit .417 as a senior with six home runs and 15 RBI and was 5-0 on the mound with a 2.80 ERA ... Struck out 58 and had one save ... Named 15-5A first-team all-district outfielder and third-team 5A All-State by the Texas sports Writers’ Association ... Helped The Woodlands capture the 2006 5A state championship and finish No. 1 in USA TODAY’s Super 25 baseball rankings as a junior ...
