OUTLOOK: Miller is not listed on the spring depth chart due to torn knee ligaments suffered during the 2008 season. Once fully recovered, Miller will have a chance to play at any of Arkansas’ three receiver positions. He brings experience and knowledge of the offensive scheme with the ability to make solid grabs to the field.

2008: Miller has played in 33 games and has made 10 career starts, including six in 2008. He finished the 2008 season fourth on the team with 30 receptions and had the second-highest receiving yard total (490). He also had a pair of touchdowns. He averaged 40.8 receiving yards per game and 16.3 yards per reception. Miller had a career game against Mississippi State with 10 catches for 201 yards and a career-long 87-yard touchdown. His 201 yards were the second-highest single-game total in school history and just three yards shy of the record. His 87-yard TD reception against Mississippi State was the longest by any Razorback in 2008. Miller’s 201 yards receiving is just the second time in Arkansas history that someone has caught balls for more than 200 yards and was three yards shy of the school record set (204) by Mike Reppond on Nov. 6, 1971, against Rice. His 10 catches were the most by a Razorback since D.J. Williams caught 10 against Ole Miss earlier in the season. Of Miller’s 10 catches against Mississippi State, eight went for first downs. He opened the season with three catches against Western Illinois. His three catches against Western Illinois all came in the second half and two of them came on the final two scoring drives of Arkansas’ come-from behind win. He was thrown to four times against Alabama and made two receptions in the first quarter. Miller picked up his first catch in four games against Ole Miss and nabbed two balls for one touchdown and a first down. His touchdown catch against Ole Miss was his first of the 2008 season on a fourth and seven play from the eight-yard line and capped Arkansas’ longest touchdown drive of the year (97 yards). Miller had a then-career high five catches against South Carolina for 57 yards and a long of 15. He led all Razorbacks in the South Carolina game by accounting for four first downs, four of his five catches moved the chains. He had a career high four catches against Tulsa for 63 yards including a season best 34-yard reception. He also accounted for a career-high tying three first downs on the day.

2007: He played in all 13 games with starts against Troy, Florida International and Mississippi State. He had 12 receptions for 157 yards and three touchdowns. He tied for sixth on the team in catches, was fifth in yardage and third in touchdowns. Miller earned his first career start at split end in the opener against Troy. He did not record any statistics. Against Alabama, he spent time on the field at split end but did not record any stats. In the Kentucky game, he caught his first pass of the season, a 14-yarder from Casey Dick, for a first down. Coming off the bench as a reserve split end against North Texas, Miller made one catch for five yards and one touchdown. His TD catch from Dick was his first career touchdown reception and Arkansas’ seventh touchdown of the evening. Playing at reserve split end against Chattanooga, he made one catch for six yards. Against Auburn, Miller caught two passes for 25 yards. He caught his second TD pass of the season with 1:36 to play in the fourth quarter to give Arkansas the lead. Against Ole Miss, he made one catch for six yards. His catch was good for an Arkansas first down and propelled a drive that led to an Alex Tejada field goal. Starting at split end against FIU, Miller did not record any receiving stats but he did force a fumble and recorded a solo tackle while playing on special teams. He caught his third TD pass of the season when he hauled in a Darren McFadden 35-yarder during the South Carolina game. The catch was also a career long. He hauled in two passes for 31 yards, including a long of 20, against Tennessee, and was named Hogwired.com Offensive Player of the Week. Both of his catches were Arkansas first downs. Miller logged time at split end against Mississippi State but did not record any stats. Against No. 1 LSU, he made one catch for 16 yards. He added two catches for 19 yards in the Cotton Bowl against Missouri.

2006: Miller appeared in eight games in his redshirt freshman season, making one start against No. 9 LSU in a three-wide receiver set. He impressed UA coaches with his early-season work on the practice field and earned playing time in eight of the Hogs’ last nine games, including the final seven contests. In addition to his work at wide receiver, he logged time on special teams. – His first collegiate action came against Southeast Missouri State. He went on to play against Louisiana-Monroe, South Carolina, No. 13 Tennessee, Mississippi State, No. 9 LSU, No. 4 Florida and No. 7 Wisconsin. He earned a tackle against the Gators in the SEC Championship Game. His first career catch came at a crucial time in the Capital One Bowl against Wisconsin. He snared a key 19-yard pass from Casey Dick on third down late in the third quarter against the Badgers. The gain sustained the drive with a first down. Arkansas went on to score a touchdown and cut the Wisconsin lead to three points in the fourth quarter.

2005: He spent his redshirt season working with the wide receivers on the scout team offense.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER: He was a three-year letterman as a wide receiver for Coach Rick Jones at Greenwood High School. During his senior season, he recorded 58 catches for 1,200 yards, had 13 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He also played free safety and was honored as an all-state selection. He was also a letterman in soccer, basketball and baseball. He was a three-time MVP in basketball and one of his performances was selected as the State Farm Play of the Year. He was also a member of the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Born Oct. 21, 1986, Miller is the son of Johnny and Gail Miller. He is majoring in communication. He was named to the Lon Farrell Academic Honor Roll for Fall 2007 and Spring 2006.
