FAYETTEVILLE - The University of Arkansas football team began its final week of spring practice with a workout inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.

Offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Paul Petrino addressed the media after practice and said he was pleased with the work being done on the field.

"I thought we went out there today and had a real good practice," Coach Petrino said. "I thought it went well. Both sides of the ball flew around and got after each other. It was a real good practice, and I think everyone got better out there today."

Coach Petrino also discussed the team's expectations for the annual Red-White Spring Game this Saturday that wraps up spring practice.

"We're looking to go out there and get better," Coach Petrino said. "We've had a great spring. We want to go out there Saturday and execute. That's what it's all about is everybody doing their job one play at a time, everyone playing as hard as they can and executing. I think it would be awesome to see a bunch of fans come out and support the players, support the program and get ready for a great season next year."

The Razorbacks have two more practices this week leading up to the Red-White Spring Game, sponsored by Cox Advanced TV. Admission is free to the game, which kicks off Saturday at 2 p.m. The game will be aired live on CST with live look-ins on ESPN during ESPN Goal Line: Spring Football and available worldwide on ESPN3.com to those outside the CST viewing area.
