Additional Tickets Put on Sale for AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic

DALLAS – The AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic opened up 450 tickets for sale to the general public for the New Year’s Day Classic between Arkansas and Missouri. These $90 tickets may be purchased online at www.attcottonbowl.com.

The Cotton Bowl Stadium is currently undergoing $50 million in renovations, including new seating in both end zones. Construction efforts in the North end zone are ahead of schedule, allowing for the additional 450 seats to be made available to the public.

“The demand we’ve seen for tickets is as high as we’ve seen in years,” Bruce Gadd, Chairman of the AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic said. “We are elated to be able to offer more fans an opportunity to come support Missouri and Arkansas on New Year’s Day, and we have the City of Dallas’ renovation efforts to thank for these additional seats.”

The No. 7 ranked Tigers (11-2, 7-1), the Big 12 North Division Champions, are making their first trip to the AT&T Cotton Bowl since 1946. Arkansas (8-4, 4-4) is making its 11th appearance in the Classic and its first since 2002 when the Hogs fell to Oklahoma, 10-3.

The 2008 AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic will be nationally televised on FOX, and kickoff is set for 10:40 a.m. on January 1st.
