After 36 holes Hogs in 2nd place

MADISON, Miss.- The No. 19 ranked University of Arkansas men’s golf team finished 36 holes in day one of the Reunion Intercollegiate, amidst cold and windy conditions. The Hogs were tied for first place with a 9-over 297 with LSU after the first round, but slipped into second place by the end of the day. The tournament’s final round will be played on Tuesday, with LSU leading the pack at a 20-over 596, followed by Arkansas at 23-over 599. Trailing Arkansas by three strokes is a 26-over 602(306-296) Vanderbilt. Tournament host Ole Miss ended in sixth place at 38-over 614(311-303).Vanderbilt’s Adam Hofmann led in both rounds with a 1-under 143(71-72). Senior Arkansas golfer Andrew Landry was tied for second place for the first round and remained at No. 2 for the second with an even to par standing of 144(72-72). Allen McFerran followed behind in a tie for eighth place in both rounds with a score of 7-over 151(75-76). Freshman Razorback Ethan Tracy began in a tie at 24th but moved up to a tie in 20th with a 9-over 153(77-76). David Lingmerth carded a 10-over 154(76-78) to top from tied 12th to a tied 25th place. Jason Cuthbertson moved from a tie in sixth to a tie at 29th with an 11-over 155(74-81).Live scoring is now available at Golfstat.com, with the tournament resuming at 8:00 a.m.
