Alabama roughs up Hogs 88-67

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) -Alonzo Gee scored 23 points to lead Alabama to an 88-67 victory over Arkansas on Wednesday night.

Gee was 5 of 6 on 3-pointers to help the Crimson Tide (15-12, 5-8 Southeastern Conference) go 9 of 14 from behind the arc (64.3 percent). All five of his 3-pointers were in the first 15 minutes of the game.

Arkansas (13-13, 1-12), which has lost eight consecutive games, was 7 of 28 from the 3-point line (25 percent).

Alabama outscored the Razorbacks 41-13 during a first-half surge to take a 49-23 halftime lead.

The Crimson Tide led by as many as 30 points three times in the second half.

Senario Hillman had 13 points and seven assists, Yamene Coleman scored 12 points and Mikhail Torrance finished with 10 points.

Courtney Fortson scored 21 points, Rotnei Clarke added 16 and Michael Washington had 12 for Arkansas.
