Last week, Jasmine Norton earned SEC Player of the Week accolades. Alvarez is the seventh player in program history to earn SEC Defensive Player of the Week honors.
For the first time since the 2006 season, Arkansas used a pair of 3-0 wins to sweep an SEC weekend. It was the third overall conference weekend sweep under head coach Robert Pulliza. With Sunday’s win over the Crimson Tide, Arkansas equaled its win total from last season.
The Razorbacks return to the court Wednesday night for a midweek contest against LSU. First serve of the Western Division matchup is scheduled for 7 p.m. (CT) at Barnhill Arena.
