Anderson speaks at Razorback Club

TEXARKANA, Ark. – University of Arkansas head men’s basketball coach Mike Anderson made his first Razorback Club appearance on Wednesday night when he traveled to Texarkana, Ark., to speak to the Texarkana Area Razorback Club.

After a brief meeting with the area media, Anderson made his way to the Four State Fair Grounds floor and signed autographs for those in attendance while the more than 400 Razorback fans were treated to barbeque. Following his autograph session, Anderson spoke to those in attendance before answering questions. Anderson’s message to the contingent included getting tickets to Bud Walton Arena early before his exciting brand of basketball packs the "Basketball Palace of Mid-America" once again. He also reiterated his comments from his introductory press conference where he talked about coming home to coach the Razorbacks.

Anderson’s Razorback Club schedule includes a stop in East Arkansas/Memphis on Thursday, April 28, before a trip to Dallas, Texas, on Monday, May 2. Also on the agenda are trips to Paragould, Hot Springs, Forest City and Fort Smith.
