FAYETTEVILLE – University of Arkansas head men’s basketball coach Mike Anderson met with the media on Friday to discuss the Razorbacks’ 2012-13 season.
"Next year we want to get to the ‘Big Dance’ and not just get to the dance, but we want to dance when we get there and the preparation for that starts now in the off season," Anderson said. "From our standpoint there was improvement in our basketball team and our program. We are moving forward."
Anderson spoke about his expectations for the Razorbacks next season and how he is excited about the direction of the program. Anderson also spoke about how critical the recruiting process is and how the additions to the team next year will be huge, including Alandise Harris who sat out this season due to NCAA transfer rules.
Anderson also answered questions about the importance of winning on the road. He answered questions about BJ Young, Marshawn Powell, Rashad Madden and DeQuavious Wagner.
