FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The No. 17 Arkansas men’s golf team returns to the course on Monday for its final event of the fall season, traveling to Dallas, Texas to compete in the 2017 Royal Oaks Intercollegiate.

The 54-hole event is played at Royal Oaks Country Club, a par 71, 7,068-yard layout with teams playing 36 holes on Monday, Oct. 22, before coming back for the final round on Tuesday, Oct. 23. Live scoring is available at Golfstat.com or via the Golfstat Live app.

Arkansas is going for its fourth straight top five finish of the year, after capturing a victory at the Gopher Invitational and coming away with runner-up honors a week later at the Bearcat Invitational. The Razorbacks are making their second appearance at the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate after a third place finish at the tournament seven years ago.

The Razorbacks are one of three top 25 teams in the field, going up against host and No. 7 Baylor as the Bears look to defend their title at the event. Arkansas will also face No. 17 Kent State, a team that has three top five finishes this fall, including a runner-up finish at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate last week.

The Razorbacks will send one of the hottest golfers in the country out in the No. 1 spot, as sophomore Mason Overstreet looks to continue his stellar fall season that features three top 10 finishes, including his first collegiate victory last week. He enters the tournament with eight consecutive rounds at even par or better and is a combined 29-under par this year. Overstreet currently ranks No. 9 in the nation and No. 2 in the SEC in stroke average at 68.58.

Arkansas will tee off Monday morning at 8:15 a.m. CT looking for its second victory of the year.
