Arkansas Continues Play In Cabo
LOS CABOS, Mexico – The No. 26 Arkansas men’s golf team shaved one shot off its opening round score and posted a 7-over 291 Monday on day two of the 2017 Querencia Cabo Collegiate at Querencia Golf Club.
The Razorbacks have recorded rounds of 292-291 – 583 (+15) and are in 12th place overall and two shots behind South Florida (+13) and No. 5 Georgia (+13). Oklahoma State (-16) and Texas (-13) sit atop the leaderboard and Baylor (-4) is the only other team under par.
Sophomore Alvaro Ortiz leads the way in T-29th overall with rounds of 69-75 – 144 (+2), while freshman Dylan Naidoo is two shots back his teammate and T-40th overall at 72-74 – 146 (+4).
Freshman William Buhl posted four birdies on Monday and is T-42nd overall at 74-73 – 147 (+5). Freshman Luis Garza had the low score of the day for the Razorbacks with a 2-under 69 and is T-61st with rounds of 82-69 – 151 (+9).
Mason Overstreet is T-65th and Alec Tahy is alone in 71st place playing as an individual.
