Arkansas Finalizes Exhibition Opponents
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas men’s basketball team has finalized its preseason schedule for the 2017-18 season and will host a pair of NCAA Division II programs in exhibition action.
The Razorbacks will play host to Central Oklahoma on Friday, Oct. 27 and welcome Missouri Western to Bud Walton Arena on Friday, Nov. 3. Both games will tip-off at 7 p.m. CT.
A member of the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association, Central Oklahoma is led by third-year head coach Tom Hankins and returns its top four scorers from a team that went 17-12 a year ago. Missouri Western is also a member of the MIAA and head coach Brett Weiberg returns his top scorer from last season to lead his team into the 2017-18 campaign.
Prior to the exhibition games, Arkansas will hold its annual Red-White game on Friday, Oct. 20, giving fans their first look at the 2017-18 team. The scrimmage will be held at 7 p.m. inside Bud Walton Arena.
