FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – After a dominant season-opening victory against Samford, the Arkansas men’s basketball team has turned its focus to Sunday’s matchup against Patriot League preseason favorite Bucknell.

Tip-off is set for 5:01 p.m., as SEC Network will televise the game with Dave Neal and former Razorback Pat Bradley on the call. Chuck Barrett and Matt Zimmerman will broadcast the game on the IMG Sports Network.

Friday’s win against Samford was Arkansas’ 44th straight victory in its home opener, including a perfect 25-0 mark in Bud Walton Arena.

After Friday’s 95-point output against Samford, the Razorbacks have scored 90-plus points in four of their last five season openers.

Mike Anderson is looking to start 2-0 for the 15th time in 16 years as a head coach. His only 1-1 start came during the 2015-16 season.

For just the second time since joining the SEC, Arkansas had three players with six-plus assists in the season opener against Samford.

Arkansas recorded 28 assists in the season opener, marking the third time in the 21st century and the second time in the Anderson era the Razorbacks had 28-plus assists in a game.

Daryl Macon became the first player in 14 years to record 16-plus points and eight-plus assists in the season opener.

Arkansas’ 12 dunks against Samford are the most throwdowns of the Mike Anderson era with the previous high of eight coming against Mississippi State on Jan. 23, 2013.
