Arkansas Men’s Golf Finishes Third at Taylor M

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas men’s golf team shot the fifth lowest third-round score of the day to finish third at the Taylor Made/Waikoloa Intercollegiate.
The Razorbacks had rounds of 289, 289, 297 to finish with a final score of 875. Georgia Tech claimed the team title with a final score of 860 after rounds of 281, 285, 294. Oklahoma finished second with a final score of 868.
Individually, Beau Galyean fired a final round 73 after shooting consecutive rounds of 72 to tie for ninth with a final score of 217. Galyean was tied for 21st after the second day of competition.
Drew Higginbothom tied for 20th after rounds of 77, 70, 72 for a final 219. Chad Faucett finished tied for 44th along with teammate Seth Murphy. Faucett shot rounds of 72, 73, 78, to finish at 223, while Murphy had rounds of 72, 76, 75.
Adam Wing rounded out the Razorbacks coming in tied for 50th with a final score of 224. Wing had rounds of 73, 74, 77 in the tournament.
The Razorbacks return to action Feb. 24-26 at the San Antonio Invitational.
