Bearcat Invitational Live Scoring/Results

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The 17th-ranked Arkansas men’s golf team travels to Cincinnati Sept. 24-25 to play in the annual Bearcat Invitational, played at the par-71, 7.150-yard Coldstream Country Club.

The event will consist of 54 holes with 36 set for Monday and 18 on Tuesday. In addition to the Razorbacks, host Cincinnati will welcome, Akron, defending champion Kentucky, McNeese State, Miami (Ohio) University, Middle Tennessee State, Ohio State, Penn State, Western Kentucky and Xavier.

Last season, Arkansas had a record-setting performance and finished second at the Bearcat Invitational. The team posted a school-record, 54-hole total of 826, which was 26-under par. The team finished with scores of 273 and 275, both among the top 20 rounds in school history.

William Buhl, who is on the Fred Haskins Award watch list, is coming off his first collegiate win at the Gopher Invitational earlier this month. Last season at the Bearcat Invitational, Buhl posted a 66, tying his career-low round, on the last day to finish 11th.

Mason Overstreet returns to the lineup after missing the Gopher Invitational due to illness. The junior tied for sixth last season at the Bearcat Invitational, shooting an 8-under par 205. That 54-hole total was the eighth-lowest score in school history at the time. (Overstreet would go on to shoot a 10-under par, 200 at the ensuing tournament, the Jerry Pate Intercollegiate.)

In addition to Buhl and Overstreet, Arkansas will send Julian Perico, Luis Garza, Tyson Reeder and Wil Gibson. Each round, the top four scores of the six will count towards the team total.
