FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas women’s cross country program has been predicted to finish first at this year’s SEC Cross Country Championships, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

During the 2014 season which culminated in Arkansas’ third program Triple Crown, the Razorbacks raced to a decisive victory over second place team finisher Vanderbilt, scoring 32 points to their 85.

The top five group of Grace Heymsfield, Jessica Kamilos, Shannon Klenke, Diane Robison and Dominique Scott all earned All-SEC honors with Scott also claiming SEC Runner of the Year accolades for her first-place finish. The group of five were joined by Arkansas freshman Kelsey Schrader who received SEC All-Freshman team honors for her efforts at the championships.

Carrying the momentum from their second-consecutive SEC cross country title, the Razorbacks continued their success finishing first at the 2014 South Central Regional Championships and in the top five at the NCAA Cross Country Championships.

They return this year selected as the No. 1 team out of the South Central Region and will look to replicate their past success during both the regular and post-season.
