Arkansas Signs Critch to National Letter of Intent

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas men’s golf head coach Brad McMakin announced on Monday that Thomas Critch has officially signed his National Letter of Intent and will join the Razorbacks for the 2018-19 campaign.

Ranked No. 164 by the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA), Critch is a dual Canadian and United States citizen and lives in Cedar Park, Texas, playing his prep career at University of Nebraska High School.

“Thomas is a great fit for our program and we are certainly excited that he chose Arkansas,” said McMakin. “Being selected to Team Canada’s National Development Team is a big honor for him and we look forward to him doing big things as a Razorback.”

He finished 15th at the 2017 Byron Nelson Junior Championship, and had top five performances at the AJGA Junior at Gray Plantation, TJGT Tour Championship, Southern Junior Championship and the Canadian Junior Boys Championship.

Critch is a member of Team Canada’s 2018 National Development Team and finished T-12th at the 2017 Valero Junior Texas Open and posted back-to-back top-20 finishes at the 2016 and 2017 Bishops Gate Golf Academy Junior at Horseshoe Bay.

He joins Julian Perico and Wil Gibson to round out the Razorback signing class of 2018.
