Arkansas-Vanderbilt Series Opener To Be Televised On SEC Network

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Arkansas Razorbacks can add one more nationally televised game to its schedule for this season as its series opener with Vanderbilt at Baum Stadium on Friday, May 12 has been picked up by the SEC Network and will have a new first pitch time of 6 p.m.

This will be the 12th Razorback game televised nationally this season and is the first to be picked as one of the SEC Network’s wildcard selections.

The following two games with the Commodores will be available online only via SEC Network+ on the Watch ESPN app and WatchESPN.com. Start times will remain at 6 p.m. and 1 p.m., respectively, for Saturday and Sunday.

This will be the 18th series between the Razorbacks and Commodores since Arkansas joined the Southeastern Conference in 1992 and first since 2015. Arkansas owns the advantage in the all-time series 29-26 and is 16-10 in games played in Fayetteville.

14th-ranked Arkansas is currently in the midst of a banner season sitting at 32-10 overall and 12-6 in conference play, putting it in a tie for second place in the SEC Western Division.

Tonight, the Razorbacks will play their final midweek game of the 2017 season when they face Kansas State inside Kauffman Stadium, the home of the Kansas City Royals. First pitch is slated for 6 p.m. and will be televised regionally on Cox Sports (CST).

For the weekend, the Hogs will host the Ole Miss Rebels for a three-game set starting on Thursday. Games one and two of the series will be televised by the SEC Network and both games have first pitch set at 6 p.m. The final game of the series will be on Saturday at 4 p.m.
