Arkansas vs. Boise State Game To Be Televised
BY ANDRES FOCIL
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas vs. Boise State game scheduled for Sat. Sept. 7, 2002, at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium will be televised only to Boise, Idaho.
In light of ongoing contractual issues with multiple agreements involving the University of Arkansas, Boise State University, the Southeastern Conference and various television rights holders, this weekend’s game against Boise State will not be available on ESPN Gameplan or any other regional or national distribution network.
“We are working with the conference in an attempt to make future televised games available to Razorback fans through the SEC’s agreement with ESPN Gameplan,” Arkansas Athletic Director Frank Broyles said. “The agreement, however, only permits broadcasting of those games outside a team’s home market.”
