Arkansas 58 Ole Miss 56

November 3, 2001 In one of the most memorable games in Razorback football history, Arkansas posted a 58-56 win over the Ole Miss Rebels in an NCAA record seven overtimes. The longest game in college football history ended when linebacker Jermaine Petty stopped Rebels’ tight end Doug Zeigler short of the goal line on a two-point conversion attempt in the seventh overtime. A national ESPN2 audience watched as the Hogs recorded their first win in Oxford, Miss.
