Arkansas-Alabama To Be Televised by CBS Sports; Kickoff Set for 2:30 p.m. CT

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas’ home conference opener against Alabama on Sept. 23 will be televised nationally by CBS Sports it was announced on Monday by the Southeastern Conference. The game between the SEC Western Division rivals will kick at 2:30 p.m. CT.

The Alabama game will mark the third time this season Arkansas has played in front of a television audience. ESPN aired the season opener against USC while Lincoln Financial Sports is slated to televise this weekend’s game at Vanderbilt.

Arkansas will battle Louisiana-Monroe on Oct. 28 in a game televised by ESPNU. The game is set for War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock. The other confirmed television appearance for the Hogs is the season finale against LSU in Little Rock. The traditional Thanksgiving weekend match-up between the Razorbacks and Tigers is set for Friday, Nov. 24, at 1:30 pm. CT at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock.

Additional televised games on Arkansas’ 2006 schedule will be announced as they are confirmed.
