Team Notes
With a 25-22 win over the Auburn Tigers, Arkansas picked up its first victory over a ranked team since a 50-48 win over LSU in 2007. The Razorbacks are now 2-4 against teams holding a No. 20 ranking.
Arkansas is now 3-3 in coin tosses this season and 3-0 when it wins the toss.
The Razorbacks are now 11-6-1 against Auburn all-time and 4-4-1 at Jordan Hare Stadium.
Arkansas was 1-2 on fourth-down conversions. The Razorbacks are now 6-13 for the year on fourth down.
Shay Haddock’s field goal that capped Arkansas’ first drive marked the first time Arkansas has scored in the first quarter this season.
Arkansas held Auburn to 53 total yards (32 rushing, 21 passing) in the first half of play. The yardage is the fewest Arkansas has allowed in the first half since holding Mississippi State to 44 yards (52 rushing, -8 passing) in 2005. Arkansas went on to win that game, 44-10.
Individual Notes
Casey Dick completed 17-of-32 passes for 222 yards with two touchdowns. Dick also ran for his third rushing TD of the season. He hauled in his third career reception, good for his first career receiving TD. He now ranks on Arkansas’ all-time charts as follows:

Michael Smith ended the day with 35 carries for 176 yards and one TD. He hauled in two receptions for 46 yards. He had a career-long reception of 41 yards at the end of the first quarter. His previous career-long haul was a 36 yarder against Tennessee in 2007.
Smith picked up his third 100-yard rushing game of the season and his second-consecutive 100-yard game. He picked up 133 yards against Florida Oct. 4 and 157 yards against Louisiana-Monroe Sept. 6. He now totals 599 rushing yards on 109 carries this season, good for four TDs.
Smith’s 63-yard TD run in the fourth quarter was Arkansas’ longest rush of the year. The previous long was also by Smith for 30 yards against Alabama.
Smith’s 100-yard rushing effort marked the third time in the last four trips to Auburn that the Razorbacks have featured a 100-yard rusher. Fred Talley rushed for 241 yards in a Razorback win in 2002. In 2006, Darren McFadden (145) and Felix Jones (104) each earned 100 yards in Arkansas’ upset of the Tigers.
Joe Adams completed the first passing attempt of his career for a Casey Dick TD. The six-yard pass from Adams was Dick’s third career reception and his first career receiving TD.
Shay Haddock connected on 27-yard and 44-yard field goals, with the 44-yarder a new career long. He has made at least one field goal in the last three games (Texas, 30 yards; Florida, 29 yards; Auburn, 27 yards). He also connected on one PAT.
Wendel Davis had his first career interception against the Tigers. He returned the pick for five yards. Davis’ interception is the fourth takeaway in as many weeks for Arkansas’ defense as Jerry Franklin had a 13-yard interception against Florida, Antwain Robinson returned an 80-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown against Texas and Ramon Broadway intercepted a pass against Alabama.
Adrian Davis grabbed his third career interception near the end of the third quarter. He picked up two in 2007 against Ole Miss and Missouri. The Auburn game marks Arkansas’ first of 2008 where it forced more than one turnover.
With less than a minute to play, Matt Harris hauled in his first career interception to secure the win for the Razorbacks.
At the 10:47 mark of the second half, Jeremy Davis connected on 58-yard punt, a career long. His previous best was a 56 yarder against Alabama earlier this season.
Near the end of the third quarter, Carlton Salters grabbed an eight-yard pass from Casey Dick. The catch was his first since the 2008 season opener against Western Illinois. He had two catches for 24 yards against the Leathernecks.

This was the first time Arkansas head coach Bobby Petrino returned to Auburn since he was offensive coordinator in 2002.
