Arkansas Falls in Season Opener

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif.,-The University of Arkansas softball team opened the 2005 season with a 4-0 loss to Sacramento State in the first game of the Mustang Roundup, Friday in San Luis Obispo, Calif.

Junior pitcher Valanna Lyons (0-1) took the loss for the Lady Razorbacks as she gave up five hits and three earned runs. Arkansas meets Nevada at 4 p.m., Friday.
