Robert Johnson started at quarterback. He has started all seven games this season.
Tight end Mason Templeton’s eight-yard reception in the first quarter was his third catch of the year. Last year, he had six for the season for 64 yards. All three receptions have given the Razorbacks a first down.
Jacob Skinner’s 57-yard second-quarter punt matched his longest of the year. His career long is a 58-yarder two years ago against Florida. He later had a 52-yarder against Georgia, giving him five 50-yard punts this year.
Darren McFadden’s 70-yard touchdown run matched his season-long rush of 70 for a score at Alabama.
McFadden’s 70-yard rush put him over 100 yards for the game, giving him three straight 100-yard games against Louisiana-Monroe, Auburn and Georgia. He is the first UA back to top the century mark in three straight games since Cedric Cobbs did so against Mississippi State (150), LSU (169) and Missouri (141) in 2003. McFadden had 125 yards and two scores on 11 carries against ULM, 108 and two scores on 13 rushes against Auburn, and 190 and two scores on 31 rushes against Georgia.
Darren McFadden’s 190 yards on 31 carries set a single-game school rushing record for a freshman. Darryl Bowles held the previous mark with 169 yards against Texas A&M in 1979. McFadden also now holds the record for most 100-yard rushing games in a season by a freshman with three.
McFadden’s 190-yard rushing performance is the 12th-best in school history.
After coming into the game with 492 rushing yards on the season, Darren McFadden now has 682, setting a school record for rushing yards in a season by a freshman. Cedric Cobbs held the previous mark with 668 yards in 1999.
Jamaal Anderson’s fumble recovery to start the second half was his first of the year and the first of his career.
With his 33-yard field goal in the third quarter, Chris Balseiro has now made at least one field goal in four straight games with a total of six over that stretch. After missing his first attempt of the year, a 44-yarder, he has hit eight of his last 10, including a two-of-three performance against Georgia.
Wes Murphy’s 17-yard reception in the third quarter was the first catch of his career.
Michael Grant’s fourth-quarter interception of Joe Tereshinski was his second of the season.
Felix Jones had season highs of three receptions and 43 yards.
