FAYETTEVILLE – The University of Arkansas men’s basketball team’s exhibition game time for Saturday, Nov. 6, has been set for 2 p.m. against LeMoyne-Owen College at Bud Walton Arena.
Fans of the Razorbacks can make it a Cardinal and White day by attending the basketball exhibition at Bud Walton and then have plenty of time to tune their televisions to ESPN to watch the Razorback football team take on South Carolina at 6 p.m.
The Arkansas-LeMoyne-Owen contest is the first of two exhibition games for the men’s basketball team this year. Last season, Arkansas defeated the Magicians in an exhibition game at Bud Walton Arena, 102-69, and had five double-digit scorers. As a team, the Razorbacks shot 56 percent from the floor and Marshawn Powell emerged as a serious threat as he scored 18 points and grabbed a team high nine rebounds. The Razorback defense was also very good against LeMoyne-Owen as it held the Magicians to a 34 percent shooting percentage including just 21 percent in the second half.
