Arkansas-LSU game one postponed

FAYETTEVILLE – The Arkansas baseball game with LSU scheduled for Friday night, May 1, has been postponed due to severe weather. The two teams have rescheduled game one of the series for Saturday afternoon with a noon start time. The regularly scheduled Saturday game will start roughly 45 minutes after the conclusion of game one.

Fans that purchased single game tickets for Friday’s game may redeem them at the Razorback Ticket Office for a future regular season contest. Season ticket holders will need to present a ticket for Saturday, May 2, for admission to both Saturday’s games.

Arkansas entered Friday night ranked No. 7 in the nation and was ½ game behind LSU in the Southeastern Conference standings. The Tigers ranked No. 4 entering the highly anticipated series which has garnered headlines on the internet sites focusing on college baseball.

Friday night’s scheduled starting pitchers, Dallas Keuchel for Arkansas and Anthony Ranaudo for LSU, are the anticipated pitchers for Saturday’s first game. Game two starters are likely Brett Eibner for the Razorbacks and Louis Coleman for LSU.
