FAYETTEVILLE- The eighth-ranked University of Arkansas football team continued practice on the UA practice fields on Tuesday in preparation for this Saturday’s matchup against ULM inside War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock.
Offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Paul Petrino spoke with the media after practice and talked about the team’s performance through the first two days of practice this week.
"We went out there and the guys worked really hard today," Coach Petrino said. "They were grinding. It has been two hot days of practice and our intensity has been good. We went out and worked hard to improve and that is something that we have to continue to do the next two days to get ready for this game."
Coach Petrino also commented on what the offense needs to do to get ready for this weekend.
"We need to step up and get ready to play this weekend," Coach Petrino said. "Number one we need to take care of the football. Number two we need to be more consistent on every single play and knowing exact details of our positions."
Kickoff for Saturday’s game is set for 6:00 p.m., and the game will be broadcast on ESPNU.
