This Week

The Lady’Backs travel to Springfield, Mo., for their first away meet of the season. Last year, Arkansas defeated Drury 136-103. The Lady’Backs led the all-time series 13-3.

Recap

Opening the 2005-06 season at home, Arkansas fell to Nebraska 178-121. The Lady’Backs won seven events with the eight newcomers making their Arkansas debut.

Summertime

Against Nebraska, freshman Summer Jackson led the Lady’Backs winning three individual events. Jackson took top honors in the 50 free, 100 free and 100 fly.

Jumpstart

The Lady’Backs didn’t waste anytime against Nebraska. Arkansas finished first and second in the 200-medley relay.

Double Dip

Freshman Jesika Heidloff swept the breaststroke events against Nebraska winning the 100 and 200 breast.

Blazing

In the 100 back, junior Mariann Fulop took control race as she finished more than three seconds before the next competitor.

Lone Ranger

Senior Angela Kora is the only senior on the 2005-06 swimming and diving squad. The Aloha, Ore., native is an individual medley and backstroke specialist.

Youth Invasion

The Lady’Backs welcomed seven freshmen to the squad. Underclassmen are the majority team with 15 members.
