Arkansas to appear on national TV next two weeks

FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas’ next two games have been picked up by national television, with Saturday’s SEC opener at Georgia on ESPN and next week’s home contest with Alabama on CBS.

The 12th-ranked Razorbacks are set to square off against the Bulldogs at 11 a.m. CT from Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga., this Saturday. Arkansas and the top-ranked Crimson Tide face each other at 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 25 from Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

ESPN’s crew features Dave Pasch on play-by-play, Bob Griese and Chris Speilman as color commentators and Heather Cox as the sideline reporter. The CBS crew featuresVerne Lundquistas play-by-play,Gary Danielsonas color and Tracy Wolfson on the sideline.

Arkansas moved up two spots in the Associated Press poll this week after a 31-7 victory over ULM last Saturday in Little Rock. The Razorbacks are 185-79-3 (.699) all-time when ranked among the top-15 teams in the country.
