Arkansas travels to No. 11 Florida

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Arkansas volleyball team returns to the court facing No. 11 Florida in the Stephen C. O’Connell Center in Gainesville, Fla., Sunday. Arkansas (6-16, 3-9 SEC) is coming off a disappointing loss at South Carolina Friday and is hoping to regroup on Sunday. “We did not play our best volleyball in Columbia,” said Arkansas head coach Robert Pulliza. “We need to take care of the ball on our side of the net and control the things we can. We can’t worry about what the opponent is doing as much as we need to limit our mistakes and control the tempo of the match.” Arkansas has been led much of the season by senior Christina Lawrence who is on pace to become the 13th player in school history to reach her career 1,000th kill. The Sullivan, Mo., native needs just two more to reach the milestone. The Razorbacks’ season is quickly winding down. Arkansas returns home hosting Tennessee and Kentucky before a final road trip to Mississippi State and Alabama. The Razorbacks conclude the regular season with their final three matches in Barnhill. Arkansas hosts LSU, Georgia and Ole Miss to wrap up the season.
