Ryan Mallett has thrown for at least three touchdowns in eight of his last 15 starts. His third touchdown of the day was a 40-yard strike to Greg Childs with 14 seconds left in the game. Mallett has recorded at least one touchdown in 15 of his 16 games as a Razorback. He extended that run with a 57-yard scoring pass to Chris Gragg with 12:27 remaining in the 1st quarter. He has thrown for multiple touchdowns in nine of 16 starts. He added to that number with a 22-yard pass to Ronnie Wingo Jr., in the third quarter.
Ryan Mallett now has 46 career touchdown passes. Greg Childs caught the 12th touchdown reception of his career, which ranks ninth on Arkansas’ all-time list, while Chris Gragg has one career scoring reception and Ronnie Wingo Jr., has three.
Ryan Mallett’s 57-yard touchdown pass to Chris Gragg in the first quarter was the eighth touchdown of 50 more yards thrown by Mallett in his Arkansas career. The catch was the second of Gragg’s career. It also was Mallett’s first 20-yard completion of the game, continuing his streak of having at least one in every game as a Razorback.
Ryan Mallett has thrown for 788 yards in two career games vs. Georgia.
Knile Davis scored his first touchdown of 2010 and fifth rushing of his career on a 1-yard run with 13:51 left in the second quarter.
Zach Hocker’s 48-yard field goal with four seconds remaining in the first half was the longest by a Razorback under Petrino and longest since Matt Schwartz’s 49 yarder vs. Southwest Missouri State on Sept. 2, 2000.
Tramain Thomas grabbed the fourth interception of his career and first this season in the third quarter. The interception was his second against Georgia and second in the last four games.
