Arkansas up in poll

FAYETTEVILLE – Coming off a season-best performance in Friday’s win at then-No. 22 Auburn, Arkansas’ gymnastics team is up to No. 11 from No. 12 in this week’s GymInfo national rankings.

Arkansas scored a season-high 195.325 points at Auburn on Friday and had a season-best score of 48.80 on bars.

The Razorbacks are 2-2 overall and 2-1 in the Southeastern Conference heading into Friday’s 7 p.m. home meet against No. 4 Georgia in Barnhill Arena.

In the individual events, Arkansas is No. 11 on vault, No. 24 on bars, tied for No. 16 on beam and No. 7 on floor.

Individually, junior All-American Jaime Pisani continues to rank among the top five on floor at No. 4. She is also No. 14 in the all-around and tied for No. 22 on vault. Pisani has won or shared the all-around title in the last three meets.

Freshman Katherine Grable is No. 29 in the all-around and tied for No. 31 on floor.

In the South Central Region, Arkansas is No. 3 overall, No. 3 on vault, No. 4 on bars, No. 3 on beam and No. 2 on floor.

Individually, Pisani is No. 2 in the all-around, No. 1 on floor, tied for No. 3 on vault, tied for No. 6 on bars and tied for No. 17 on beam. Grable is No. 6 in the all-around, No. 4 on floor, tied for No. 13 on vault, tied for No. 14 on bars and No. 21 on beam.

Senior All-American Michelle Stout is tied for No. 10 on vault, sophomore Kelci Lewis is tied for No. 17 and sophomore Amanda Siebert is No. 23.

On bars, freshman Shelby Salmon is tied for No. 20; on beam, freshman Scarlett Williams is No. 23; and on floor, freshman Bailee Zumwalde is tied for No. 13.

In the all-around, sophomore Jordan Salsberg is No. 14.
