The Season Has Been A SprintArkansas is competing in its final regular season event of the 2009 season at the Bryan Park National. This event is co-hosted by UNC-Greensboro and Wake Forest at Bryan Park Golf and Enrichment Center (Champions Course).About The Bryan ParkArkansas is scheduled to tee off at 9 a.m. (10 a.m. central) with Notre Dame and Ohio State.Making the tripArkansas has been pretty steady in the traveling five and does not change this week. The Razorbacks travel lone senior Lucy Nunn, juniors Kristin Ingram and Alex Schulte, sophomore Kelli Shean and freshman Katy Nugent.

This year’s fieldThis week’s field is another big one with 18 teams and six individuals scheduled to play. The Bryan field includes: Arkansas, College of Charleston, East Carolina, Georgia, LSU, Louisville, Michigan State, Notre Dame, North Carolina, NC State, UNC Greensboro, UNC Wilmington, Ohio State, South Carolina, TCU, Tennessee, Virginia and Wake Forest.Arkansas at the BryanThe Razorbacks are making the program’s second ever appearance at the Bryan. The first came March 28-30, 2008. where Arkansas finished fourth in the 18-team field. Arkansas carded a 913 (305-302-306) last year. Former University of Arkansas player Stacy Lewis was last year’s medalist winning the tournament with a one-under 215. Florida won the team title.Up NextTime for the postseason. The Razorbacks travel to Columbia, S.C., for this year’s SEC Championship April 17-19. Then it’s on to Regionals May 7-9, and possibly the NCAA Championship May 19-22.
