ARSN Crew Finalized ? Inman and Schaeffer to Take Expanded Roles

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Razorback Sports Network (ARSN) and the University of Arkansas have announced Scott Inman, KATV Channel 7 news anchor, and Rick Schaeffer will take on additional roles with the Razorback football broadcast team in 2007.

Inman, who has been ARSN’s Dodge Scoreboard Show host for the past seven seasons, will take on an expanded role this year. He will be the host of “Razorback Gameday” which includes the 90-minute ARSN Pre-Game Show and the Dodge Scoreboard Show that concludes every ARSN football game broadcast.

“Scott will be the voice that begins and ends every Razorback football broadcast,” said ARSN General Manager Todd Curtis. “He brings immense talent and hosting experience to our broadcast which will only compliment the already strong broadcast team we have in place.”

In addition to Inman’s new role and on-site presence, Schaeffer will return to the ARSN football broadcasts as part of the Pre-Game Show, Dodge Halftime Show and Sonic Post-Game Show. Schaeffer has been a part of the broadcast team in the role of statistician for the past three seasons. He has served as the color analyst on the basketball broadcasts for a total of 26 seasons and has previously served on the football broadcasts as a color analyst.

Former NFL great Keith Jackson is set to partner with play-by-play announcer Chuck Barrett in the booth as color analyst. Jackson is entering his seventh season as part of the ARSN crew. Quinn Grovey, a former standout Razorback quarterback, will once again serve as the sideline reporter and a valued contributor to the Pre-Game and Post-Game Shows. Grovey begins his ninth season with ARSN.

“We are very excited to have Scott and Rick on the Razorback game day crew this year,” said Matt Shanklin, University of Arkansas Associate Athletic Director. “They both bring a wealth of knowledge to the broadcasts which will only add to the entire Razorback game day experience for Hog fans.”
