FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The 20th-ranked Arkansas baseball team has been selected as the No. 2 seed in the Stillwater Regional and will face No. 3 seed Oral Roberts Friday in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.

The 64-team field was announced live on ESPNU, as 16 host sites around the country are home to four-team regionals to make up the 2015 NCAA Tournament field. The Razorbacks are scheduled to open play in the Stillwater Regional on Friday, May 29 at noon CT against Oral Roberts on SEC Network, while regional host and No. 1 seed Oklahoma State will take on No. 4 seed St. John’s at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN3.

Arkansas enters the NCAA Tournament with a 35-22 overall record, winning 20 of its last 27 games, including going 7-0-1 over its final eight SEC regular season series. The Razorbacks picked up a pair of wins in the SEC Tournament, including a victory over National Seed Florida.

The Razorbacks are making their 14th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and are in the tournament for the 28th time overall in program history. Arkansas is one of just five teams in the nation to advance to the NCAA Tournament each of the last 14 years, joining Cal State Fullerton, Florida State, Miami (Fla.) and Rice as the only programs to accomplish the feat.

Arkansas is 66-58 all-time in the NCAA Tournament, including a 48-39 record in NCAA Regionals. The Razorbacks have advanced to the College World Series seven times, most recently in 2012, and appeared in five Super Regionals. Head coach Dave Van Horn has led Arkansas to five consecutive NCAA Regional finals, including last year against national runner-up Virginia.

The Stillwater Regional will be played at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium with a capacity of 3,821. The Oklahoma State ticket office is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and can be reached by calling 877-255-4678 or logging on to okstate.com/tickets.

Fans wishing to purchase tickets for the Stillwater Regional can do so online through the OSU Athletics Ticket Office atwww.okstate.com/tickets. Tickets available will be all session for $60 each. Single-session tickets, which will be available in limited quantities, will go on sale 90 minutes before each session at Reynolds Stadium. For the Regional, all seats will be reserved. Every fan must have a valid ticket to enter the stadium.

The Razorbacks are 9-5 in NCAA Regional openers over the last 14 years. Entering the NCAA Tournament, the Razorbacks are No. 34 in the NCAA Rating Percentage Index (RPI) with 11 wins over top 50 RPI squads. Arkansas has three wins against teams when they were ranked No. 1 in the country, including a series victory on the road against then-consensus No. 1 Texas A&M.

Arkansas is led by SEC Player of the Year and Golden Spikes Award semifinalist Andrew Benintendi, who continues to produce one of the best statistical seasons in program history. The sophomore is second in the country in home runs and leads the SEC in batting average (.391), slugging percentage (.738), on base percentage (.492) and total bases (149).

The pitching staff has led the Razorbacks’ late-season resurgence, allowing two runs or less in 10 of the last 17 games with a 2.97 earned run average. Trey Killian and Keaton McKinney will anchor the postseason rotation, while All-SEC first-team relief pitcher Zach Jackson will make his second NCAA Tournament appearance.
