FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas baseball program is set to host a variety of camps and clinics this winter, ranging from position skills camps to instructional showcases.
Head coach Dave Van Horn and his staff will oversee each camp that is aimed to work on fundamentals and help individuals improve every facet of their game.
Holiday Instructional Showcase | Dec. 20, 2014 (Register)
Camp Facts | 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. | Lunch Not Provided | $205
The Holiday Instructional Showcase Camp from the Arkansas baseball coaches and camp staff is for high school players only. This camp will provide SEC level instruction in the areas of infield play, outfield play, catching and hitting. This is an opportunity for high school players that are serious about improving their skills to play at the next level. The camp is open to 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, & 2019 High School Graduates.
Junior All Skills Camp | Jan. 2, 2015 (Register)
Camp Facts | 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. | Ages 6-12 | Lunch Provided | $130
This camp will offer fundamental instruction on hitting, fielding, throwing, base running and game competition. The camp will be run by current Arkansas coaches and players.
Hitting/Position Camp | Jan. 10, 2015 (Register)
Camp Facts | 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. | Ages 10+ | Lunch Provided | $255
This camp will be broken down into two different sessions for each player. An offensive session will be offered where each camper will be coached on extensive hitting drills and mechanics. The defensive session allows each camper to learn what it takes to play defense in the SEC at the infield, outfield, or catcher position. The camp will be run by current Arkansas coaches and players.
Pitching Camp | Jan. 11, 2015 (Register)
Camp Facts | 1-5 p.m. | Ages 10+ | Lunch Not Provided | $180
This camp will cover pitching mechanics, pitch grips, fielding, pickoffs, count/pitch selections and a live bullpen sessions. The camp will be run by current Arkansas coaches.
