FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Razorback men’s basketball team heads out on the road this weekend to take on the Vanderbilt Commodores in Nashville, Tenn., Tip time for the Jan. 29 contest is set for 5 p.m. and will air on Fox Sports. Following the road contest, the Razorbacks return to Bud Walton Arena for a pair of games against Georgia on Wednesday, Feb. 3 and against Ole Miss on Saturday, Feb. 5.

In the most recent news, Arkansas’ game with Ole Miss scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 5, has been selected for ESPN2. The game was slated for either ESPN or ESPN2 at the beginning of the year.

There have been several articles written about the Razorbacks over the last couple of weeks including a few that shed some light on several individuals within the program. Kevin Brockway of the Gainesville Sun caught up with Razorback Assistant Coach Brett Nelson to speak to him about his days as a member of the Florida Gators before Arkansas’ game in Gainesville. Julysses Nobles hit all 10 of the free throws that he attempted against the Auburn Tigers to preserve the win for the Razorbacks. Robbie Neiswanger of the Arkansas News Bureau takes a look at where that stands in the Arkansas history books here.

Junior Rotnei Clarke struggled for a few games shooting according to some and Bob Holt of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette sheds some light as to why. He asked several SEC coaches on the conference’s weekly teleconference what they do to try and stop Clarke who is now 28th on Arkansas’ all-time scoring list. Read his article here.
