4:00 p.m. — The streak is over as the Razorbacks hand MVSU a 91-54 defeat. Farmer leads four Hogs in double digts with 18 points. Good afternoon from Fayetteville — we’ll be back Monday.

3:59 p.m. — Cox at the line for two, and he makes both — everyone that plays, scores today for the Razorbacks, 91-52. With less than a minute to play, the century is unlikely.

3:58 p.m. — Sanchez takes a seat, probably for the day. Nobles picks up his 10th point, to give Razorbacks four in double digits.

3:56 p.m. — Bryant gets his free throw, so only Cox left to make it everyone plays and everyone scores today for the men. Now 87-51 with 2:13 to play.

3:55 p.m. — 2:55 in Walton, final media TO, Arkansas up 86-51; in Norman, OU gets 1st 2nd half lead,but UA responds to lead 76-73 with 3 to play.

3:51 p.m. — Pelphrey calls a time out to do some coaching with 3:31 left in the game; Hogs haven’t scored in a bit and MVSU on a 5-0 run to cut the game to 86-51.

3:46 p.m. — And Farmer makes it 40, 86-46, with his driving jumper, just under 6 left to play.

3:44 p.m. — Britt’s rainbow trey — the 8th of the day — takes it to 38, 84-46.

3:43 p.m. — Farmer’s drive gives him 15 to join Welsh and Powell, but he’s fouled. The 3pt play puts Farmer at 16, and the Hogs closing on a 40-point spread, 81-46, with just over seven to play.

3:42 p.m. — In Norman, OU’s slow motion comeback has the Arkansas lead under 10 for the first time since opening half, 66-59 with 8:50 left

3:41 p.m. — A lot of scrapping and action up and down the court the past clock minute, but little scoring either way. We hit the third media time out at 7:47 left in the game, 78-46.

3:36 p.m. — Razorback depth showing as 11 have played and nine have scored; Welsh, Powell leading with 15; UA 75-44 with 9:39 to play.

3:35 p.m. — Powell slices down the lane and says NO — hard jam puts Arkansas back up 30, 75-44, and another MVSU turnover gives the ball back to Hogs.

3:33 p.m. — Michael Sanchez hits the deck against Studivant; Studivant turns and hits the bucket and then Sanchez gets whistled for a foul. The and one is good as MVSU gets it under 30, 73-44.

3:32 p.m. — Media break at 11:50, margin 30-plus at 73-41; Welsh leads with 15, Powell with 13, Farmer 11; in Norman, UA women up 62-49 with 12 min left.

3:29 p.m. — Britt gets layup, then a steal of the MVSU inbounds that he can’t quite control as he goes out of bounds; chases down the play and gets the defensive rebound to send Arkansas back up court for another bucket, 73-41.

3:26 p.m. — After a pair of free throws for MVSU to cut it to 67-39, Delta Devils come out with full court pressure — and some verbal pressure as well — technical foul on MVSU bench, Welsh gets both FTs and back to 30, 69-39.

3:24 p.m. — Johnson’s layup takes the margin to 30, 67-37.

3:23 p.m. — Famer’s last bucket puts him at 11, three Hogs in double digits (Welsh, 13, Powell, 13).

3:21 p.m. — Powell and Farmer alternating buckets as Razorbacks pull out to 65-37 lead at the first media time out.

3:17 p.m. — Powell breaks into double digits (11) with a turnaround drive to the rack and earns the foul; misses the FT but lead now 59-35 Arkansas.

3:14 p.m. — MVSU inbounds to start the second half down 53-32.

3:12 p.m. — WHAM! from band with another new piece; combined with the Michael Jackson themed dance routine, bit of an 80s day in Walton Arena.

3:09 p.m. — Big roar for the mascot hitting a three-pointer; he’s just joining in with the rest of the team as Arkansas hits seven in the first half at a 54% clip. Razorbacks own each part of the box score except turnovers — even at 9 each — and steals — where MVSU is having a 6-3 advantage.

2:58 p.m. — OH YES, Nobles beats the buzzer with the trey, and inspite of the two free throws, Hogs to in up 20-plus, 53-32.

2:58 p.m. — Razorbacks have scoring from all but Glenn Bryan today, still led by Welsh.

2:57 p.m. — Foul on Nobles opens the door for MVSU to walk-off with less than 20 margin as we have 9.6 left in the half.

2:57 p.m. — Here, men now have their 20-point spread for the first time, 50-30.

2:56 p.m. — Razorback women take a 46-33 lead to halftime at Norman.

2:55 p.m. — Hey, that’s The Office theme from the band — very cool.

2:51 p.m. — Defensive pressure forces another time out from MVSU at 48-30; Hogs looking like they will go to halftime with close to a 20 point spread.

2:49 p.m. — Arkansas has the hot hand now with 58% from the field to just over 30% for MVSU; 57% overall and 54.5% from behind the arc.

2:48 p.m. — MBB pushing toward a 20-point spread now, hitting 19 just before this final media break of 1st; UA up 44-28 with Welsh leading all with 13 points.

2:46 p.m. — Exchange of buckets before Farmer’s baseline floater takes us to 44-25.

2:45 p.m. — Arkansas on a 13-4 run to a 40-23 lead; MVSU hasn’t hit a field goal in over two minutes.

2:44 p.m. — Clarke gets his first three-pointer and becomes the fourth Razorback to hit from distance; Hogs 6-of-11 on treys and up 38-21 with 5:26 on the first half clock.

2:42 p.m. — Welsh adds another three pointer (his third) to go to 13 points, he’s just six behind MVSU as Arkansas starts to pull away, 33-19.

2:41 p.m. — Welsh leads all scorers with 10 points on 4-of-5 and 2-3 from behind the arc; Hogs up 30-19 7:22 1st. Arkansas continues with strong rebound advantage, 15-8, but the turnovers are even. 6-6.

2:39 p.m. — While Arkansas gets its first double-digit lead just before this third media time out of the first half, MVSU is being a pesky opponent that won’t fold just yet. Hogs lead 30-19.

2:35 p.m. — Johnson brings it down with authority, then Powell takes a fast break opportunity inside as Hogs start to use their athleticism to pull away. Powell gets both and Hogs now lead 27-17.

2:32 p.m. — Four point outburst from Razorbacks thanks to defense and MVSU turnovers takes lead back to 23-15.

2:30 p.m. — Welsh checks in for Farmer. Pelphrey has more of his full bench today, and Hogs have used nine players. MVSU only one sub beyond the starters. MVSU gets a turnover from Arkansas and a basket, now 19-15.

2:29 p.m. — Razorbacks hold a commanding 12-4 rebound lead over MVSU, free throws for Newsome pull MVSU back within six, 19-13; MVSU continues its full-court press.

2:26 p.m. — Razorbacks go to the second media time out 19-11 lead; Hogs hitting 43% from field with Welsh and Powell leading with five each.

2:23 p.m. — Britt with the steal off MVSU, bats it a little too far and can’t quite reel it in. Crowd appreciates and it does allow Arkansas to set a full-court press. Pressure results in a turnover from MVSU.

2:21 p.m. — MVSU three-pointer leads to a mini 5-0 run by Devils to cut to 15-11; Washington throws down with authority, then on the inbounds, Sanchez is fouled and heads to the line, he gets one of two, now 18-11.

2:20 p.m. — Washington, Britt and Sanchez in a wave substitution; just before Welsh hits his first three-pointer. Razorbacks are 3-of-5 from the arc to start the game.

2:19 p.m. — Powell and Nobles (5 and 3 respectively) lead Arkansas off the bench at the first break.

2:18 p.m. — Powell leads Razorbacks with 5 points at the first media timeout in Walton Arena, 12-6 over MVSU; Ark shooting 44% from field to 25% for MVSU.

2:17 p.m. — Behling of MVSU goes down awkwardly after a layup drive, hits his head on the Walton hardwood and is slow to get up; Hogs take break to other end, but ends in a travel to take us the first media timeout.

2:16 p.m. — Holmes’ tipin after the timeout snaps another mini run by Razorbacks, 12-6 Hogs.

2:15 p.m. — MVSU takes a 30 second time out after a turnover leads to a Steph Welch driving layup, now 12-4 with 16:16

2:14 p.m — Neither team shooting well early, each hitting under 30%.

2:14 p.m. — 5-0 run by Razorbacks out to 7-2 start with MVSU.

2:11 p.m. — Delta Devils score pair of own free throws to tie, then open with a full-court press after the makes, 2-2.

2:09 p.m. — Hogs get the tip and Powell is fouled on the first attempt of the game, he hits both and the Hogs lead, 2-0.

2:08 p.m. — We have tipoff in both Fayetteville for the men’s game and Norman for the women’s game.

2:05 p.m. –Students give the traditional business to the visitors, here we go with the home team introductions.

2:00 p.m. — John Pelpfrey from the video board gives us the call "its game time" — Hogs take the floor and we are 3 minutes on game clock to introductions.

1:42 p.m. — MVSU has returned to the court for warmups, 21 minutes to tip.

1:40 p.m. — Notable here in the warm-ups, Mike Washington is dressed out for the game.

1:39 p.m. — Just under 25 minutes to tipoff.

1:33 p.m. — Razorback men’s basketball team just entered the arena for today’s pregame warm-ups.

1:30 p.m. — We understand there is considerable interest in the Conference USA championship game among Razorback fans. Last time we checked, that game was 24-19 East Carolina over Houston.

1:09 p.m. — This is an interesting clash of teammates. Razorback head coach John Pelpfrey and Delta Devils’ coach Sean Woods were members of the Kentucky basketball team known in Wildcat lore as the Unforgetables.
