Baum Stadium Renovations For 2004
At the conclusion of the 2003 season Baum Stadium underwent renovations that saw the old artificial surface replaced with natural grass. A rye grass was planted during the fall of 2003 with plans for a hybrid bermuda to be planted following the 2004 season.

In addition, eight new luxury boxes and permanent coaches’ offices were added along the first and third base lines on the upper level and will be ready for the start of the 2004 season.

Baum Stadium also received a new state-of-the-art scoreboard that stands 51 feet tall and 76 feet wide. The scoreboard features a full color video board, message center, a traditional hand clock and four brick pillars. The scoreboard is located beyond the right field wall and is a perfect complement to the game day atmosphere at Baum Stadium.
