FAYETTEVILLE — Despite the University of Arkansas being closed on Saturday, the scheduled men’s basketball game against Clemson and the women’s contest against Northwestern State will still be played at Bud Walton Arena. The men will tip-off the day against ACC foe Clemson at 1 p.m. while the women’s game will begin at 7 p.m. The groundbreaking of the Basketball Performance Center set for 11 a.m. just south of Bud Walton Arena will also take place. University of Arkansas students will be admitted for free by showing their UA student ID card at the east entrance of Bud Walton Arena. Student seating will be located in the regular student sections located in the southeast corner of the arena on the lower level.Based on the number of students in attendance, the student section may be expanded into other areas of the arena. Specific seating instructions for students will be provided be Event Management upon arrival. The Razorback Athletic Department strongly encourages all students and fans to use their best judgment in regards to determining their attendance at Saturday’s game. Fans planning to make their way to Bud Walton Arena should allow extra time and proceed with caution when traveling to and from the facility as well as when walking around, to and from the building. More information and updates on parking will be available Saturday morning. All game day employees should park in Lot 56.
