BOBBY CROCKETT - OLD SPICE/ARKANSAS HONORARY CAPTAIN FOR TROY GAME

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas is proud to announce former Razorback Bobby Crockett as the Old Spice honorary captain for the Troy-Arkansas football game on Saturday, September 1, 2007 at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. The University of Arkansas Men’s Athletic Department will present an honorary captain for each Fayetteville home game this season. Each honorary captain will be honored prior to the game on the field, recognized on the SmartVision and will accompany the Razorback captains to midfield for the coin toss. The honorary captain will also appear at the Legends Tent presented by Old Spice and Spectrum Brands in the AT&T Trough approximately 90 minutes before game time.Crockett lettered from 1963 through 1965. In 1965, Crockett received All-Southwest Conference and All-America honors when he caught 46 passes for 746 yards and four touchdowns.Bobby caught 10 passes for 129 yards and one touchdown versus LSU in the 1966 Cotton Bowl. Crockett was also named to the 1960’s All-Decade team. Crockett went on to play one season with the Buffalo Bills.
