Bronze for Ulrey in the mile

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Arkansas Razorback men’s track and field finished eighth with 24 points at the NCAA Indoor Championships in College Station, Texas. The Razorback will bring eight All-America honors back to Fayetteville.

"We had some goings happen and some not so good things," head coach Chris Bucknam said. "We needed everyone to do their job this weekend and that didn’t happen for us. We need to be qualifying for finals to score points. Dorian (Ulrey) ran his heart out. He did everything we asked of him and he carried this team on his shoulders. I know he wanted race wins and he’s disappointed he didn’t get them. We aren’t done yet. I don’t ever count this team out. Now we are going to focus on outdoor."

Junior Dorian Ulrey took the weight of the Razorback team on his shoulders this weekend, competing in four races, including three separate miles, in two days. He ended his first NCAA Championship as a Razorback with a third-place finish in the mile (4:02.19) and a ninth-place finish in the 3,000 meters (8:03.26).
