Bucket Boys performing at halftime of MSU game

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas men’s basketball team opens Southeastern Conference play Saturday against Mississippi State.Tip off is set for 7:06 p.m.

The nationally known Bucket Boys from Chicago will be in action during halftime.

The Bucket Boys were featured in this years’ ABC’s Monday Night Football intro video. They also performed at the 2004 NBA All-Star Game and the 2007 MLB All-Star Game Home Run Derby.This is a can’t-miss halftime show.

The Razorbacks are coming off two wins against Top 10-ranked, Big 12 teams – No. 4 Oklahoma (96-88) and No. 7 Texas (67-61). Currently, the Razorbacks hold a 12-1 season record.

Michael Washington leads the team with 17.8 points a game and the SEC with 10.3 rebounds. Washington, a pre-season All-SEC selection, has already been named the conference player of the week twice this season.
