Campbell and Scroggins To Miss Remainder Of 2017 Season

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas sophomore pitchers Isaiah Campbell and Cody Scroggins have both sustained elbow injuries that will force them to miss the remainder of the 2017 season. Campbell’s injury will not require Tommy John surgery, but Scroggins’ injury will. No timetable has been set for either player’s return. Below is a statement from head coach Dave Van Horn about Campbell and Scroggins’ injuries:

Dave Van Horn Statement
“It’s unfortunate to lose two pitchers like this at this point in the season. However, we plan to do everything we need to make sure that both Isaiah and Cody make a full recovery so they can get back on the field as soon as they are ready.”
